Cut-down of face-to-face contacts between tax authorities and the public continues (No. 965)

With regard to the declared government measures concerning COVID-19, the offices of the Financial Administration continue to be accessible to the public only to a limited extent. The operation of registries at tax offices is limited to Mondays and Wednesdays, from 08:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. Offices working in the so-called “optimized 2+2 mode” (2 staff members, 2 days a week) are fully closed. You will find an overview of these regional offices on the Financial Administration website.

According to the memorandum of the Financial Administration, this situation will last at least until December 12, 2020. Still, reduction of personal meetings is recommended. An electronic form of communication should be preferred for communication with the tax administrator.
