Do the changes in Intrastat reporting for 2022 apply to you? (No. 1039)

The new regulations concerning statistical reporting in the field of foreign trade between EU countries will come into force on 1 January 2022; some significant changes take place in connection with them.

One of the main changes is the introduction of a simplified reporting option for reporting units, which can, under certain conditions, send only one report per year without providing detailed data. Simplified reporting can be submitted only by those reporting units whose trade volume with other EU Member States ranges between CZK 12 and 20 million (both in the import and export directions, each considered separately) and, at the same time, they did not trade in agricultural and energy commodities listed in the relevant Notice of the Czech Statistical Office in the given period.

Concurrently, the number of reported data is expanding and changes in transaction codes, the method of reporting so-called 100% credit notes and some terminological changes take place. Detailed information is available on the Czech Statistical Office and Customs Administration of the Czech Republic web pages.
