Travel expenses reimbursement rates for 2021 (No. 982)

As every year, there are changes in the level of meal and other travel allowances for 2021. The figures for 2021 are published in the Collection of Laws under No. 589/2020 Coll.

There was a slight increase in the limits for inland meal allowances (e.g. the lowest possible amount of meal allowance increased from CZK 87 to CZK 91 for a journey lasting 5 – 12 hours). Average fuel prices fell after previous year-on-year growths, for example for Natural ON 95 petrol from CZK 32.00 per liter to CZK 27.80 per liter or for diesel oil from CZK 31.80 per liter to CZK 27.20 per liter.

The rate of basic reimbursement per 1 km of driving a passenger road motor vehicle increased from CZK 4.20 to CZK 4.40 compared to the previous year; the rate for single-track motor vehicles and motor tricycles also increased, from CZK 1.10 to CZK 1.20.
